Senior Management Analyst, NSF Office of Inspector General
Philip Emswiler is a Senior Management Analyst in the National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Inspector General (OIG). Prior to joining the NSF-OIG Office of Audit Mr. Emswiler worked for nearly six years at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Inspector General. He is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a graduate of the College of William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia.
A native of Columbus, Ohio Mr. Emswiler has lived in Washington state, Florida, and overseas in Belgium. He is a lifelong history buff and enjoys visiting the many historical sites and museums around the DC area. An active runner, Mr. Emswiler has completed the Army Ten-Miler four times. He also enjoys hiking in Shenandoah, Great Falls, and Manassas.
